Remembrance Sunday Service 2013
Our traditional Remembrance Sunday Service, combined with the Parade Service of our Youth Organisations and the two minutes silence at 11:00am, to remember that our freedom comes at a cost.
We remember soldiers like Corporal David Timmins who suffered 22 injuries and the loss of an eye while dealing with a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
We remember all those, like Malala in Pakistan, who put their lives at risk while actively working to bring justice and peace in violent parts of the world.
We remember the sacrifice made by the military wives and their families, who face anxiety, stress and possible bereavement when loved ones are serving in dangerous places.
Our Service will be led by David Eagle.
Poppies will be on sale in Church and at various meetings at the Church Centre from Saturday 26th October.
