Christmas Child Boxes in preparation

IMG_20131026_105801

The annual preparation of show boxes for Operation Christmas Child is well underway, thanks to generous donations of boxes and contents from many members of the Church.

Boxes this year are expected to go to Eastern Europe and Africa, providing Christmas Gifts for children who might not otherwise receive any.

From Samaritan’s Purse, who organise Operation Christmas Child each year: -Staff member Alan Cutting, who took a team of  olunteers to Montenegro, said, “I wish every British donor of a shoebox could experience just something of the gratitude that we have experienced from those who received your gifts.

Everywhere we go, the simple message we share is threefold. A child in the UK loves you. Jesus loves you. And you are not forgotten. Time and time again I am reminded of the value of each of these simple messages.”
