Children (and their families) create symbolic depictions of Jesus Christ as the Light of the World. Christingle is a service to recognize and celebrate Jesus Christ as the Light of the World. The act of making a Christingle is symbolic and during the service we will discover what each item symbolizes. The most important of all the items is the candle which symbolize the light of Christ overcoming darkness and bringing hope to people. All materials are supplied, and you are welcome to take your Christingle with you to add to your own Christmas at home. Offertory for Action for Children.
